Bike the Highlands Limited. Booking Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Bike the Highlands for your cycling trip. We look forward to welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.

Prices

The price of group cycling and accommodation booking includes self-catering accommodation and availability of a cycling based activity on each full day of your stay. Bike the Highlands reserve the right to change bike activities based on weather and road conditions and individual abilities of the rider.

Acceptance of Children

We welcome children to attend Bike the Highlands holidays with their parents. The minimum age to join a group riding activity is 16 years of age.

Payment

Telephone reservations can be made by calling the Bike the Highlands on +44 (0) 7375635033 or +44 (07751720943) but confirmation of your booking will not be made until a booking form is completed and full payment is received at least 60 days prior to your arrival. Exceptions can be made on an individual basis as agreed in writing with an individual representing themselves or a group with Bike the Highlands.

Cancellation and Insurance

By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and 15% of your total booking price will be non-refundable if you cancel more than 31 days prior to departure . If you cancel your booking 14 days to 30 days prior to your arrival 60% of your total booking price will be non-refundable. If you cancel a booking within 14 days of your arrival, you are liable to pay for the booking in full and you should defer to the terms and conditions of your holiday insurance to seek reimbursement. We recommend your holiday insurance includes cancellation coverage.

It is a condition of your booking that you have travel/medical insurance that covers road/off road cycling related activity and that these documents with emergency telephone numbers are made available to Bike the Highlands on arrival.

Road Transportation

Bike the Highlands does not accept responsibility for loss, damage or injury whilst using road transportation to or from cycling activities or airport transfers. This includes any delay due to mechanical breakdown or traffic related incidents. Bike the Highlands will do its best to provide alternative travel arrangements should such incidents arise.

Non-availability of Accommodation

We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival

Your accommodation will be available to you from 15.30 on the day of arrival, unless you have contacted us to arrange an earlier check-in time at the time of booking.

Departure

Please vacate your room by 10:00am on the day of departure.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of Dec 2022 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
